Weekly Reflection

All-powerful God, increase our strength of will for doing good that Christ may find an eager welcome at his coming and call us to his side in the kingdom of heaven, where he lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit one God, forever and ever.

Amen.

Garden Lovers Wanted!

Calling parents, grandparents, uncles and aunts that love spending time working in the garden! The vegetable garden has been a little neglected over the past couple of weeks and the weeds have taken over so we need your help to get it cleared and ready for next year. We are in need of approximately 4 volunteers next Tuesday 3rd December from 9:30am–1:00pm. Morning tea and lunch will be provided. We also have gloves, knee pads and little shovels so there is no need to bring anything - just yourself and a love of gardening.

If you are able to help please email me on mrowe-watts@sfcc.vic.edu.au or ring the school office. Thank you in anticipation of your support.

Holiday Reading

Now is the time to catch up on all of those good books you were too busy to read during the school year.

Still too busy? Why not listen to an audiobook as you travel around over summer.

Just click on this link, Wheelers eBooks, browse the collection (note the earphone symbol which designates an audiobook), login using your College username and password and enjoy listening to or reading your favourite books.

Or get adventurous and try reading a different genre or author. Take the time to explore the many reading options available. You might surprise yourself!

Canteen News

We’re very excited to be in our new canteen space and are looking forward to changing our menu items next year. Thank you to all students and staff for their patience as we have settled into our fabulous new work environment.

For the last couple of weeks of term we will be trialling and assessing a few different ways of doing things so that we can deliver our delicious food to students and staff quickly and efficiently. Please be patient with us while we do this, some things we try will work well and others won’t and we will have to try something new.

If you have any feedback (positive or constructive), please feel free to pass it onto Mr Blackley and we will assess all feedback.

We are still using the online ordering system and will continue to do so next year but we also now have EFTPOS facilities, to make managing your hunger just that little bit easier for you!

Thank you to all for your continued support this year. We wish you all happy and safe holidays and look forward to welcoming you back in 2020.
