Artist in Residence Mural

During the last week of Term 2 we hosted our artists in residence Christine Sage and Regina Byrne from Hullabaloo. They came in to create a mural with a group of our Year 8 students. The mural was created using household paint and the students ragged the paint onto the wall under Christine's guidance. The 25 students did a fantastic job and worked so hard and efficiently that the bulk of the painting was done in a day.

This landscape mural is a welcoming sight for those walking from the new Gadal building back into the main area of the school and has revived a tired, boring brick wall. The landscape is of a sunset and is a reflection of the view you may have once seen as you looked across the property behind CRC Melton right through to Bacchus Marsh when the school was first built.

A huge congratulations to Mrs Trish Griffin and her Year 8 art class on an awesome effort that you can all be proud of for years to come.
